Our journey north can take us from Edinburgh to Stirling Castle with a glance at The Kelpies and perhaps The Falkirk Wheel en route.
Continuing north, we pass through majestic Glencoe with a stop further north at Glenfinnan. Here we can admire the monument commemorating the spot where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised The Standard and rallied The Clans at the commencement of the ’45; the final Jacobite Rebellion. Also, contrastingly, we have a fabulous view of the ‘Harry Potter’ railway viaduct.
Onward we travel the entire length of the Great Glen, driving alongside Loch Ness from Fort Augustus to Inverness.
