Wild West Adventure Part One

We’ll begin with a gentle drive along the north shore of Loch Ness, stopping briefly at Invermoriston for a stroll by the falls. Continuing north west from here, passing through the majestic mountain landscape of Kintail and over Ratagan pass to Glenelg where the community operated ferry takes us over the sea to Skye. Returning over the Skye Bridge, we’ll go searching for Highland cattle and palm trees in Plockton!

Suitable for up to seven people, travelling in our comfortable premium vehicle, this tour takes approximately 9 or 10 hours. Pick up (and drop off) will be from your Inverness (or nearby) accommodation and the tour costs £600 (including all taxes and ferry fares) for the day. Please note that entry fees for any attractions / visitor experiences are not included. This tour can be combined, subject to suitable overnight stays, with either or both of the other Wild West Adventures on this page. Wild West Adventure Part Two

Bealach Na Ba - Grant Driving Tours

Driving north out of Inverness, we cross the Kessock Bridge before heading west through Achnasheen to Lochcarron. Our dramatic route takes us over one of Scotland’s highest mountain passes, rising from sea level to over 2000 feet before descending back to the shore at Applecross. The epic scenery seems to continue endlessly; a great topic of conversation over an envigorating dram before we return to Inverness, or at dinner that evening.

Wild West Adventure Part Three

This lovely route will provide many opportunities for impromptu diversions along dramatic little back roads. We can visit some beautiful wee villages like Badachro and Poolewe, and take stunning beach walks at Red Point, Big Sand or Mellon Udrigle. The famous Inverewe Garden showcases rare species thriving where the effect of the Gulf Stream meets the Scottish Highlands.
